It’s been a tragic week for Dhaka. On Tuesday night a five-storey construction site collapsed, killing more than 20 people. And last night in Old Dhaka an electrical transformer exploded, causing a fire to start in an adjacent store selling inflammable plastics. So far 116 people have been confirmed dead, including 15 guests at an engagement party. A reporter I met today at the scene said that one family managed to escape – but everyone else in the apartment block is presumed dead.

Yes, the tragic incidence took 118 people and rest others around the place will be suffereing for them.
We dont know how many more similar incidences are waiting for our unplanned Dhaka city to cause the damage. It will be a real question for all of us. Lets pray for the departed souls for their eternal peace.
