Dave Cox knows what he did was “extreme” and admits he was “quite embarrassed” to tell his friends. Half of them openly hinted that he was “stupid”. But the 29-year-old defied the naysayers and successfully completed five-and-a-half marathons in six days through the Sahara desert. Perhaps they didn’t know his personal philosophy: “Impossible is nothing to the willing mind.”
